Dark and moody. Black and white faceted pit fired vase carved and polished.   Waterproof and just looking for some lovely flowers or even planted up with a suculent or cactus to make it a unique feature.   16cm by 10cm.
 
Pit firing creates 1 off, beautiful pottery that is both decorative and to some degree functional. However it does not like being cleaned by dishwashers and whilst waterproofed and food safe is best used as, for example, fruit bowls or dispaying flowers and plants.  So keep oil and sauces away from it to maintain it's look and hand wash gently.
