Beautiful pair of pit fired bowls, waterproof and food safe (but not for the dishwasher!).    Fabulous colours, with lots of pink, white and red to complement the smokey grey.  They just sit so well together they had to be a pair. 
 
Large one is 23 cm wide, 11cm tall.  It's smaller partener 17cm by 10cm.
 
 
Pit firing creates 1 off, beautiful pottery that is both decorative and to some degree functional. However it does not like being cleaned by dishwashers and whilst waterproofed and food safe is best used as, for example, fruit bowls or dispaying flowers and plants.  So keep oil and sauces away from it to maintain it's look and hand wash gently.
